Grace Smith goes through her top 10 favorite fonts. It’s always fun to see which fonts capture the imagination of designers. One thing I have to say about Grace’s favorites – she certainly likes sans serif helvetica-ish style fonts :)

Why Niche Banner Ads Fail

Interesting article by Zach Dunn on why certain niche banner ads fail. I’d say most surfers filter out ads pretty well. It’s as Zach says because of the “tendency of serving up some incredibly bland or gimmicky contextual banner ads for many basic keywords.”

Interesting article (Creative Gap), I’ve often pondered this one myself. Personally I’ve always tended to want to handle everything from design to development for this reason, the original intention rarely ends up being the final implementation.
