Soh Tanaka has an excellent tutorial on how to make an animated page curl with jQuery! Previously I had only seen this done in flash. Definitely a great way to grab attention and add detail.

An Unconventional Resume

Clement Boutignon has found an interesting use of the data tracking service Daytim: he has set up his datum homepage as his resume. Pretty cool way to display your info in a clean and interesting resume!

Another one of Chris Coyer’s self initiated projects! Quotes on design offers thought provoking quotes from talented designers (present and past). The site also has a nifty API so you can embed the quotes in your own site if you want!

These IE6 Splash Pages are brilliant, I wish I could get away with using them. Some of the illustrative typography is really really good. If only I had that much time on my hands to be able to focus on doing something like that.
