The Last Desk You Will Ever Own

Niki

ArrayHeckler Design

At one time, you needed a desk that could handle a mountain of paper, a two-foot-deep monitor, a printer, and a CPU the size of a Labrador. Today, your entire computer is an inch thick and your printer is in your closet connected to your WiFi. You have moved forward. It’s time your desk caught up. Desk by Heckler Design.

Holy CRAP this desk is beautiful and minimal! Makes my workstation look huge and cluttered! This desk just looks and feels like it was made by apple.

I want it, and then an Imac to fit on it. =)

Check out Milk. It’s a similar style and can adjust for standing or sitting etc..

I think I just fell in love with this…does that make me a nerd? haha

Yeah, looks slick, but definitely won’t work for me. Something about a big desk just makes me feel like I’m doing something productive. Is that weird?

Not enough room. Where are you going to place all your paper, on your head?

    Can’t understand this mac obsession.

OneLessDesk’s designer here. Thanks Niki and all for the kind words. Stinj, true, its designed as more a computer workstation than a traditional desk. Its cool with me if you own both a OneLessDesk and a table for you papers. :)
For those wanting one, heads up, it may become available only at retail in the coming months as we bring resellers online and those folks won’t like being undercut by our factory-direct price. A black version is in the works, as well as OneLessStand (small printer stand), and OneLessFile (simple hanging file that sits next to OneLessDesk or under OneLessStand. You heard it hear first.

Looks great but wouldn’t be big enough for me. I need space to have notes and paper and notebooks and phones and camera and water bottles lying around. I like the feeling of a bigger desk even if I don’t need all of it.

This desk would rock in a kitchen/living room environment though, which is becoming more and more common.

It does LOOK amazing, but am I the only one who still needs drawers and maybe a place to file bills and stuff? My current desk has built in sliding keyboard tray, two small pullout drawers, and two built-in filing cabinet spaces. Not sure I could give it all up for something purely minimal.

It looks gorgeous, but it’s no workstation. It’s a neat little design, but I’ll take my massive wraparound IKEA desk for most longterm scenarios. I could see it being a great little stand for a family computer that’s used mainly for quick browsing and media… as well as a bunch of other “casual use” scenarios, but it looks like working at that desk for any length of time would get uncomfortable. Besides, where does my pile of clutter go?

Wow that’s shocking! Nothing new though, these things were around in the 70s in glass form

I personally like the larger desk. The Milk is about 4 – 5k who wants to spend that on a desk?

Yikes! $649, pretty steep but still a nice desk

When I saw the photo, I was like wow!!…that would look pretty neat even with my Dell PC, but when i saw the price!…I was like..Ohhhhh Nooooo!!…I would never buy less for more :o)….I guess if a person loves style over function then it would be perfect!!

I’m afraid it’ll fall so easily. I usually have hyper knees and bumps on desk most of the time. tsk tsk. does it have black too?

I run a Mac Pro with a 24″ and 22″ monitors. And have a printer, external harddrive, wireless router, and laptop on the other part of the desk. I would need 3! of these. lol

Cool design though. I would consider it for a smaller laptop workstation in my living room.
