Open Source Web Design is a site to download free web design templates and share yours with others. They help make the internet a prettier place. I’ve used some of theme free templates before as a starting point for some of my web design projects before – some of them are pretty decent.

I was an active member of the oswd community for quite some time until updates on the website just stopped… You will see the latest template was approved on the 22nd Jan 2007!
The majority of the community (including myself) then decided to move over to another website – http://www.opendesigns.org.
It is an extremely active community and the template quality available for download is fantastic. It far exceeds that of oswd IMO anyway :P
